faq + shipping

I’ve gotten more than a few emails at this point, and here’s the most common questions, comments, concerns, insults, valuable feedback, kind words, mean words, etc. that I have received. 

1. Which Apple Watches does it fit?

The mini phone ultra (mpu) is tested and confirmed to fit the Apple Watch Ultra 1, 2, and 3, while the mini phone standard (mps) will fit the Series 10 or 11 in 46mm.

2. Are you going to offer this for my Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra?

Right now, no — I’ll be honest, I didn’t even know Samsung HAD a Galaxy Watch Ultra. Limited resources, limited product knowledge, and the imminent migration of the striped bass through Long Island waters makes this unlikely event in the near future. (update: I really didn't fish that much this fall :/ )

3. Are you going to make it for other Apple Watches?

TBD, but I'm a one man operation and this man does not have a ton of free time for R&D into products for Apple's massive back catalog of product.

4. Are you going to offer more colors?

There are more colors now than there were before, but I'm always looking for new materials to mess around with.

5. $30, are you out of your mind?

I mean, a little. I really didn’t want or need another job, but the people want the damn thing and I couldn’t let them down. 

6. Why 3D printing and not more premium material?

I basically stole my kid’s birthday present, and he got a 3D printer and not a Haas Super Mini Mill. Maybe for his 9th birthday? Really though, it’s what I had at the time and I feel like the product is robust enough in its current form for the use case. The operating temperature of the Apple Watch Ultra is under the temperature restraints of the material being used. 

7. Are you shipping internationally?

Right now I have orders open to the US, Canada, and the UK and a few select other countries that have been asked about. I am a one man crew here, and international shipments are at your own risk. International shipping is only available via USPS First Class International. If you really want one, please reach out if shipping isn't open to your country.  If you're ordering from anywhere outside the USA, you may be responsible for additional duties upon receipt of the package. At this time, I cannot accept responsibility for international shipments damaged in transit. You may have to file an insurance claim with the carrier. I cannot accept international returns at this time. 

8. Returns?

If you would like to return or exchange your item, it must be unused (no watches installed into it) in LIKE NEW condition. It must be within 30 days of when you purchased your item. There is a 10% restocking fee on all returned items, you are responsible for return shipping fees.
